We are working with a rapidly growing solar project developer focused on utility-scale and distributed generation projects in key markets across the country. As this U.S. organization continues to grow, we have been asked to help identify a Sr Civil Project Engineer to join their Irvine team.
This role will be heavily focused on Geotechnical work for ground mounted commercial and utility scale solar PV Projects. You will work with and supervise third-party resources to develop and analyze Geotechnical reports to determine project risk and feasibility. To be successful in this role significant experience with civil and geotechnical work on large renewable energy projects is an absolute requirement.
To be successful, you will need:
- 5-10 years of Civil Engineering experience with a focus on geotechnical work
- 5+ years of experience with solar or other renewable energy projects
- 2+ years of geotechnical experience
- Experience performing grading analysis and cut-and-fill analysis
- Advanced degree in Civil Engineering
